Who we are
The Freight Craft runs dispatch.university, an online training programme for freight dispatchers. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean The Freight Craft. You can reach us any time through our contact form.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms:
- Waitlist: your email address, and if you choose to give them, your first name, the country you're based in, which description fits you, and which course you're interested in. We also record the page or link that sent you to us.
- Contact form: your email address, your name if you give it, and your message.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it
- To email you when enrollment opens and about the course you said you're interested in.
- To answer messages you send us.
- To understand, in total, who is interested (for example, how many people are new to dispatch), so we can plan the course.
We use your data because you asked us to, by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw that at any time.
Who sees it
We never sell or rent your data. It is stored on our web host's servers (Hostinger). If we start using an email service to send updates, that service will process your email address only to deliver our emails, on our behalf.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from jsDelivr. Like any website, those services receive your IP address when your browser fetches the files.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and in any case no longer than 24 months after we last contacted you. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. To make any request, use the contact form with the email address you signed up with. If you're in the EU, the UK or another country with data protection law, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
